the penny pitches kick off our annual fundraiser. the station, which turns 50 next year, depends on the support of donations to fund nearly everything we do during the year. Our operating costs, acquisitions for the music library, special events like this year's live broadcast from the japanese music underground in shin okubu tokyo, the psychotronix film festival, the ann arbor film festival, equipment and equipment repair. The money donated goes to many other station related causes, and it is all put to good use.
